EUBOIA. Chalkis. Circa 338-308 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 3.41 g, 9 h). Head of the nymph Chalkis to right, her hair in a roll and wearing pendant earring. Rev. Χ-ΛΑ Eagle flying right, grasping serpent with his talons that coils around his body; to right, wreath. BCD Euboia 124. Picard, Issue 3, 12 and pl. II, 12k. Harshly cleaned, otherwise, about very fine.
